Forumer Gallery Thread

Quick tutorial for those who don't know how to post a picture:
First you need a picture, ideally taken from a digital camera, but scanned images will still work.
Save them as jpegs (.jpg) or gifs (.gif).
Do not save them as bitmaps (.bmp), as this format uses about ten times the memory and makes the pages load slowly. Then you need to host the picture. Personally I use www.photobucket.com.
Then, you just need to post a link to the image.

Taking the example of an image on RTWH:

shows up as:

http://rtw.heavengames.com/forums/rtwh.gif
shows up as:
http://rtw.heavengames.com/forums/rtwh.gif

Picture.
shows up as:
Picture.

I have removed the pictures that Ace linked to that no longer exist. If you want your picture in the gallery (or to change the one that's already there, post it or link to it in the thread. If you want your picture removed, I can do that too.

NB - It is against Heavengames policy to allow anyone under the age of 14 to post personal pictures.

That second picture looks like you are bored as hell!

General Rawlinson- This is most unsatisfactory. Where are the Sherwood Foresters? Where are the East Lancashires on the right?

Brigadier-General Oxley- They are lying out in No Man's Land, sir. And most of them will never stand again.

That'll stop when you get to 25 or so. if you aren't careful, one moment you are saying how you can eat like a horse, then next someone has written Goodyear down your side and tethered you over a sports stadium

@LoH: I was grocery-shopping in the instant foods section, how exciting does that sound? My eyes do light up in the sushi section though

I googled Edorix (for pictures), and up came Michael Jackson.

Who else is waiting for a picture of Liam?

Except for all those lampshades... anything you'd like to tell us about that Nickel? Some strange obsession? Not sexual, I hope...

Ahem, yes.

Anyway, I've been meaning to post here for quite some time... It's funny, I can scarcely actually find any pictures of me... of my nine profile pictures on facebook, only two of them actually feature me, and only one of them is from close-up and that is easily the worst picture I've ever seen... umm....

Wow, Edorix!

You don't actually look like what I imagined - I thought it'd be something along the geeky/ nerdy line - but you certainly look, well... very wolfish and lascivious. (What else?)

Nonsense. That's just what the government is trying to tell you. Also, kudos for the long hair, yours looks betters than mine.

You can't say that civilization don't advance, however, for in every war they kill you in a new way.

Chauvinism is not a particularly nice trait at the best of times but can be suicidal when the person your talking too can have you executed on a whim.

Facebook, anyone?

Looks like they're more than twenty-four days late... oh wait, they did turn up, didn't they... I'm afraid I might have arranged a little surprise for them, involving Armoured War Elephants, Spartan Hoplites, and elite British slingers...
