Forumer Gallery Thread

Quick tutorial for those who don't know how to post a picture:
First you need a picture, ideally taken from a digital camera, but scanned images will still work.
Save them as jpegs (.jpg) or gifs (.gif).
Do not save them as bitmaps (.bmp), as this format uses about ten times the memory and makes the pages load slowly. Then you need to host the picture. Personally I use www.photobucket.com.
Then, you just need to post a link to the image.

Taking the example of an image on RTWH:

shows up as:

http://rtw.heavengames.com/forums/rtwh.gif
shows up as:
http://rtw.heavengames.com/forums/rtwh.gif

Picture.
shows up as:
Picture.

I have removed the pictures that Ace linked to that no longer exist. If you want your picture in the gallery (or to change the one that's already there, post it or link to it in the thread. If you want your picture removed, I can do that too.

NB - It is against Heavengames policy to allow anyone under the age of 14 to post personal pictures.

Thanks.

General Rawlinson- This is most unsatisfactory. Where are the Sherwood Foresters? Where are the East Lancashires on the right?

Brigadier-General Oxley- They are lying out in No Man's Land, sir. And most of them will never stand again.

Well, since apparently I'm a newbie here (according to the awards anyway) I figured might be an idea to show you all who I actually am:

Or is coming from the bar with a drink for a friend. Looks like a Scotch and coke.

Both are mine, as was the third that I had just drunk at the bar. I don't muck around on nights out.

It also helps that I know the bartender and he gives me double-shotted drinks for $3.

Back at last, thought I'd put up some pics to show my face once more.

Went from this:

Methinks it looks a tad better.

You can't say that civilization don't advance, however, for in every war they kill you in a new way.

Chauvinism is not a particularly nice trait at the best of times but can be suicidal when the person your talking too can have you executed on a whim.

I wanted to prove to a few people online at how skinny I was, so I took three pictures. One normal, one tense, and the final one was just a small trick of mine.

Don't worry, I've eaten 43 slices of pizza in one sitting and only gained a pounds and a half, which was gone by the next day.

Although I do very much like the third picture. It looks like an alien looking down to its right.
