Forumer Gallery Thread

Quick tutorial for those who don't know how to post a picture:
First you need a picture, ideally taken from a digital camera, but scanned images will still work.
Save them as jpegs (.jpg) or gifs (.gif).
Do not save them as bitmaps (.bmp), as this format uses about ten times the memory and makes the pages load slowly. Then you need to host the picture. Personally I use www.photobucket.com.
Then, you just need to post a link to the image.

Taking the example of an image on RTWH:

shows up as:

http://rtw.heavengames.com/forums/rtwh.gif
shows up as:
http://rtw.heavengames.com/forums/rtwh.gif

Picture.
shows up as:
Picture.

I have removed the pictures that Ace linked to that no longer exist. If you want your picture in the gallery (or to change the one that's already there, post it or link to it in the thread. If you want your picture removed, I can do that too.

NB - It is against Heavengames policy to allow anyone under the age of 14 to post personal pictures.

Yeah I heard of S Club 7 who I hate with a passion. My little sister used to love them. She was pretty distraught when they broke up.

Andalus how can you not know of S Club 7. *shakes head in disappointment*

General Rawlinson- This is most unsatisfactory. Where are the Sherwood Foresters? Where are the East Lancashires on the right?

Brigadier-General Oxley- They are lying out in No Man's Land, sir. And most of them will never stand again.

I may vaguely have heard of them, now I think about it. I was never really very interested in that kind of music!
Surely having grown up in London you know who S-Club 7 are? How old are you?
I grew up in Nottingham and I am almost 18.

wow! a new slang word! shite!

i'm going to be sooo cool at school: just shite off! or what is this shite?! or even better: i just took a shite!

Yep, it's true, having no sig is boring. But so is this one. Which makes my point... relatively pointless.
Can a point be a point when it is pointless?

I've heard of them, was unlucky enough to see a part of their tv show, and still don't know their names.

S-Club 7 was one of those bands that was huge in London and Hull, but the good people of Nottingham had never heard them. I think it had something to do with a decree by The Sheriff, or something. G-Club Gisbourne was particularly popular in the area, however.

Boetje: "- off" is not a correct usage of that word. It is likely to get you pointed at and indeed laughed at.

[EDIT: Whilst researching the correct spelling of Gisbourne, I read with disappointment that Robert Addie, who played GoG in the 1980s series "Robin of Sherwood" (as well as Mordred in Boorman's "Excalibur") died a few years ago. Nobody tells me nuffink.)

Nice one, Matt

Boetje, shite is an actual word. So excuse me if I just don't cock my ear to the wind, and listen to the glorious sound of a backfire.

I thought S Club weren't too bad considering. Bradly was the best guy in it
