I recently bought the Elite Units of the East DLC, and started a new Ottoman campaign to take advantage of these units. However, most of them do not seem to be present in the campaign. I loaded my old Maratha game, and all three Maratha units are available for recruitment at the relevant places, but the only new Ottoman units I can see in the building browser are Haydut Irregulars, Circassian Armoured Cavalry, and Mounted Nizam i Cedit. As I understand, I should be able to recruit Armenian Archers from Yerevan immediately, but I cannot, nor are the other five units anywhere to be found.
I've checked via custom battle that all twelve units are in the game and appear fine on the battle map, but half of them are simply not available for recruitment.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? There doesn't seem to be any obvious way to re-download and re-install, either.

Are you sure you are building the proper buildings? Many of the special units are only available in one or a few regions and often only for a top-tier military government building in the single-slot cities. For the multi-slot cities some units only become available when a high enough barracks gets built.
I'm playing the Feral Mac port with all DLCs included, but though I've been playing since it came out, I just noticed the armenian archers quite recently.

Yeah, I realised they were mostly regional units, so I checked I was looking at all the correct regions and buildings first. No Libyans, Palestinians, Bosnians, Wallachians, Cairo Janissaries, or Armenians.
Armenian Archers should be available at the Magistrate level, which Armenia starts with, so there's definitely something odd.
