Topic Subject: How to mod ETW?

How do you actually mod this? It looks a lot more complicated than M2. I want to be able to mod the United Provinces and give them a few more territories and little villages so they have a little bigger edge. I started a campaign with them and made a monopoly on the trade theatres, then French got pissed and annihilated me. If I had Flanders, then I could've researched more and had a shipyard to produce decent warships to hold off the onslaught.

Edit: Ok, I've downloaded this DBeditor from sourceforge, and I've given it a look. In faction_tables/factions, it has columns labeled:

R1, G1, B1, R2, etc.

What do those columns mean? And still, how do I change the ownership of regions? How do I add more things like ports and towns, and farms to regions? How do I change the starting units that factions have, the starting money? And lastly, how to edit the starting relations between countries? In M2, most of these were ridiculously easy to mod (descr_strat.txt)

Think you're a hotshot against the Mongols? Go to the Mongolphobia mod discussions and download the mod, then, you will surely tremble with fear in the face of the Mongols. If you have suggestions/questions, feel free to make a thread. You can download Mongolphobia here. Good luck.
